Vilnius, Apr. 21, 2021 – Leading developers to one of the most powerful PVDF vibration energy harvester Viezo, is celebrating being the winners of Virtual South Summit – Energy & Mobility organized by Spain Startup.
The South Summit was started as an initiative with focus on reactivating the ecosystem. The event gathered the most innovative startups, regardless of their industry, development stage and country to present their success stories overcoming the current challenging times.
Viezo was among many other contestants to pitch remotely. Each contestant had the opportunity to share their project in front of a top-level jury with top notch investors and leading corporates.
The Selection Process
Donat Ponamariov, Founder and CEO of Viezo, presented the core values of the company talking about the technology and its deployment in his pitch. The pitch has raised high level of curiosity and interest, which was apparent in the reaction it got by the jury.
Viezo presented its innovative solution to extend the battery lifetime reducing the maintenance needs and saving cash in the IOT industry. The Jury members were very active in their questions. The host was impressed by the crowdedness of the questions, pointing out how great it was.
The jury has assessed each contestant and accordingly Viezo reached the five finalists list. On April 16, 2021, Viezo was announced as the winner. The pitch can be found fully online.

The Webinar
